BJP leader injured in shooting incident in Jammu
Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJP Youth Front), Advocate Kanav Sharma, was shot by unidentified individuals in Jammu today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Sharma, who is the son of senior IIOJK BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma, was attacked in the New Plot area of Jammu. He sustained injuries from the shooting and was immediately rushed to Sarwal Hospital, where doctors later referred him to the Government Medical College, Jammu, for further treatment.
Indian police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Officials stated that efforts are underway to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive behind the attack.
Eyewitnesses cited by media reports suggested that the shooting followed a heated altercation over a parking dispute.
