JKSDMI launches new parliamentary campaign in UK for Kashmir
Bury, UK: The Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) has announced a new parliamentary campaign in the United Kingdom for Kashmir, aiming to strengthen lobbying efforts and raise international awareness about human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of JKSDMI, made the announcement at a lunch reception in Bury, attended by key political figures, community leaders, and activists.
The campaign will be led by Councillor Yasmine Dar, Former Lord Mayor of Manchester, and will focus on engaging with new Members of Parliament to enhance lobbying efforts on the Kashmir issue.
The event featured discussions on human rights violations in Kashmir, community cohesion, and the role of British lawmakers in international advocacy. Speakers praised JKSDMI’s relentless advocacy and strategic engagement in Parliament, and expressed support for the new campaign.
