Indian police file chargesheet against Pulwama youth under draconian UAPA
Srinagar: The Indian police have filed a chargesheet against a detained individual in Pulwama district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in fake and fabricated cases under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the chargesheet filed in an NIA (National Investigation Agency) court in Pulwama, pertains to cases registered at the police station Awantipora. The detained individual, identified as Hijaz Nazir Magray, son of Nazir Ahmad Magray, a resident of Lassipora, Pulwama, is alleged to be a supporter of pro-freedom groups in the district.
Indian authorities claim the action is part of a broader strategy to dismantle the logistical and financial infrastructure supporting pro-freedom activities in the district. However, this latest move reflects a deeper strategy to stifle dissent and suppress the voices of Kashmiris, forcing them to abandon their political beliefs and conform to the occupying regime’s narrative.
