Avalanche alert issued for two districts in IIOJK
Srinagar: The authorities issued an avalanche warning, today, for two districts in the upcoming 24 hours.
The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) in a communique said the warning indicates a Low Danger Level for potential avalanches, particularly above 2600 meters in Kupwara and 2800 meters in Ganderbal districts.
People living in the specified areas have been advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas.
