BJP regime seizes properties of seven more Kahmiris in IIOJK

Srinagar: The Hindutva BJP Indian regime continues to snatch the properties of innocent people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to punish them for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in its fresh move, the BJP regime attached properties worth crores of rupees of seven persons in Baramulla district.

The attached properties (8 Kanals, 6 Marlas and 2 Sersai) land belonging to Sajad Ahmad Bhat, Irshad Ahmad Khan, Gulla Mochi, Mohammad Aslam Khan, Mohammad Beigh, Khalid Mir and Rafiq Ahmad Bakerwal are located in different areas of the district.

The police claimed that the persons were providing support to the demand for right to self-determination as promised by the United Nations to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian authorities have already confiscated the headquarters of All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Srinagar and hundreds of houses, land and properties belonging to Hurriyat leaders and organizations including Syed Ali Gilani Shaheed, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Aasiya Andrabi and Jamaat-e-Islami across occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The occupation authorities have also demolished many residential houses, shops, shopping complexes and other properties in the territory.

The continued attaching or confiscating of the properties is a new method being used by the Modi regime to render the people of IIOJK homeless and landless. The action is aimed at forcing them to give up their support to the ongoing freedom struggle.

However, New Delhi needs to realize the fact that its brutal military occupation and colonial tactics have failed to subdue the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom in the past and will meet the same fate in future as well. The world community must take cognizance of the brutal actions of India in Kashmir and play a role in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute to save the Kashmiris from the Indian wrath.
