Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated in IIOJK on June 17: Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam
Srinagar: Grand Mufti of occupied Jammu and Kashmir Nasir-ul-Islam Friday said that Zil Hajj moon had been sighted and Eid-al-Adha this year would be celebrated on June 17.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam in a statement in Srinagar said that the crescent for the month of Zil Hajj, year 1445 as per the Islamic calendar was seen, today, and subsequently the month of Zil Hajj 1445 will begin from tomorrow, June 08.
“Eid will be celebrated on 17th of June 2024,” he said.
