Indian troops launch cordon and search operation in Udhampur
Srinagar: Indian troops have launched a violent cordon and search operation in Udhampur district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was initiated in Khaned-Basantgarh area of the district.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Udhampur Range claimed that the operation was launched in response to “specific inputs” about “suspicious movement” in the area.
The operation was ongoing at the time of the latest reports.
