TeH commemorates Syed Ali Gilani’s martyrdom anniversary in Srinagar
Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir in its extraordinary meeting held in Srinagar, today, commemorated the third martyrdom of veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani and pledged to continue the martyrs’ mission till taking it to its logical conclusion.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the participants of the meeting condemned the cruel and oppressive actions of the Indian rulers on the day when Syed Ali Gilani was martyred after nearly ten years of house arrest.
They said by establishing a curfew-like situation in the entire valley, the valley was practically turned into a prison and no one was allowed to leave their homes. The veteran leader was buried in the darkness of the night under the shadow of the Indian army.
They pledged that despite the suppression and oppression of India, they will leave no stone unturned to bring the freedom struggle to its logical end, keeping the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir said Syed Ali Gilani gave the slogans like “La ilaha illallah”, “We are Pakistanis and Pakistan is ours,” “Kashmir will become Pakistan”.
The participants of the meeting said now it is the responsibility of Pakistan to put pressure on India at the international level to stop the oppression and human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and implement the international resolutions on the Kashmir dispute.
