Pakistan reiterates commitment to continue moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris
Islamabad: Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris until they achieve their inalienable right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, at her weekly news briefing in Islamabad today, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said October 27, Sunday, will be observed as Black Day all over the world including Pakistan.
On October 27, 1947, Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir in direct violation of the Partition Plan and international laws, disregarding the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and occupied the territory.
She said the Kashmiri people have never accepted the Indian occupation of their land and its continuous denial of the right to self-determination. She said that despite decades of Indian domination and oppression, the aspirations of Kashmiris for their rights and freedom are alive.
