3.7 magnitude earthquake hits Ladakh

Leh: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Ladakh in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the tremor’s epicenter was located at 34.51 N latitude and 78.52 E longitude, with a depth of 10 km in the Leh area.

An official told the media that no loss of life or property has been reported anywhere.

Two weeks back, the region had witnessed an earthquake of the same 3.7 magnitude approximately 200 km southwest of Leh.
