Indian forces cross all limits of brutality in IIOJK: President AJK

Kotli: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has said that occupying forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have crossed all limits of oppression against unarmed Kashmiris.

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a public gathering in Kotli, Barrister Sultan stated that the wave of brutality unleashed by India following the unlawful abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A on August 5, 2019, shows no signs of abating. He noted that over the past three decades, Indian forces have martyred more than 100,000 Kashmiris in IIOJK.

He further said that thousands, including Hurriyat leaders, are languishing in Indian jails under illegal detention, while over 23,000 women have been widowed and more than 100,000 children orphaned due to Indian atrocities.

Barrister Sultan urged the Kashmiri Diaspora to raise their voices on all global forums in support of the oppressed people of IIOJK.

He pledged to expose Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oppressive policies and continue advocating for the rights of Kashmiris at every platform in the world.

He also condemned Israel’s bombings on unarmed Palestinians in Gaza and criticized the international community’s silence on the aggressions in Kashmir and Palestine. He warned that the failure to resolve the longstanding disputes of Kashmir and Palestine could lead to catastrophic wars in South Asia and the Middle East.
