Indian trooper dies of heart attack in IIOJK, experts cite stress and trauma
Srinagar: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man died after complaining of chest pain in Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF man complained of unease in the chest and then collapsed in the District Police Lines in Nillow area of the district.
The official said that the CRPF man was immediately taken to the District Hospital Kulgam, but he succumbed. The trooper was identified as Vishnoo from Gujarat. The police have taken up the investigation, the official added.
Health experts link the increased incidents of deaths among Indian troops due to heart failure and related health issues in occupied Jammu and Kashmir highlight the psychological and physical toll of serving in a territory marked by conflict and unrest.
