Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth in Kupwara
Srinagar: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed in a staged encounter during a cordon and search operation in the Keran area of the district on Saturday morning.
The massive search operation named ‘Operation Pimple’ was initially launched by Indian forces on Friday and is still ongoing, according to officials.
Observers said that such killings, carried out by Indian forces’ personnel enjoying immunity under the draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) are part of a continued strategy to suppress the Kashmiri people’s struggle for their UN-recognized right to self-determination.
