Sehrai dedicated his entire life to Kashmir cause Mushaal

Islamabad: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of jailed Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik and Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organisation, has paid tribute to martyred Hurriyat leader Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai on his death anniversary.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushaal Mullick in her statement in Islamabad, recalling his lifelong struggle for the freedom of Kashmir, said that Ashraf Sehrai had dedicated his entire life to the Kashmir cause, standing firm for truth in the face of oppression.

She noted that despite enduring imprisonment and severe hardships, he never wavered from his principled stance.

She described his martyrdom as a “shining symbol” of the ongoing freedom movement, adding that the sacrifices of other leaders, including Javed Ahmed Mir, remained an integral chapter of the struggle.

“Today is not just a day of remembrance but a day of renewed commitment,” she said, reiterating that the mission of the martyrs would be kept alive.

Praying for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, Mushaal Mullick expressed confidence that Kashmir would ultimately achieve freedom.
