Rally organized in Muzaffarabad on “Pakistan Day” today
Muzaffarabad: A rally was organized, today, on the occasion of “Pakistan Day” in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a large number of refugees from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and local people participated in the rally taken out from the city’s Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk.
The participants of the rally on the occasion raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, including “Pakistan sai rishta kia La Ilaha Illallah,” “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Kashmir ki Azadi tak jang rahaigee jang rahaigee.”
Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, leaders of the refugees of occupied Kashmir Raja Muhammad Arif Khan, Ghulam Hasan Butt, Syed Hamza Shaheen, Chaudhry Feroz Deen, Hurriyat leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Muhammad Atif Lone, Sarandaz Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Siddique Dawood, Shaheen Abbasi, Muhammad Maqsood Mughal and others speaking on the occasion said March 23 is an important day in the history of the Indian sub-continent when in 1940 the All India Muslim League passed a resolution in Minto Park, Lahore, for the establishment of a separate Muslim country and in a short period of only seven years, the Muslims of the region were able to achieve Pakistan under the ambitious leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The speakers congratulated the people of Pakistan on “Pakistan Day” and said Pakistan is a strong supporter and advocate of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. They said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali had declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan, adding Kashmiris are actually struggling for the completion of Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir will become a part of Pakistan.
