14 people injured due to fire during Holi celebration in Bhopal
Bhopal: As many as 14 people, including priests and saints, were injured due to a fire during the Holi festival in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Holi celebrations were going on at the Jyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain when the fire broke out during Bhasham Aarti.
During Bhasham Aarti, the gulal was being blown in and outside the garbhagriha, when the gulal fell on the puja plate, due to which the fire broke out and soon the fire engulfed the temple.
According to Indian media, 14 pundits, including priests and saints, were burnt and injured in the fire, who have been shifted to hospitals in different districts while eight injured have been transferred to Indore.
A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
