Indian police arrest three Sikh activists for Pro-Khalistan slogans
New Delhi: Indian Police, in collaboration with Counter-Intelligence, apprehended three Sikh activists on the charge of writing pro-Khalistan slogans in both Punjab and New Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) confirmed the arrests in a statement issued via the social media platform X. The police officer claimed that the detained individuals are suspected operatives of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a group advocating for an independent Khalistan in India.
Further investigations are underway to ascertain the extent of the individuals’ involvement in pro-Khalistan activities.
