18 dead as passenger bus collides with milk van in UP’s Unnao
Lucknow: At least eighteen people died and 19 were injured in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident took place when a double-decker sleeper bus rammed into a milk container on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway near Jojikot village in Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday
District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi said prima facie the bus, which was on its way to Delhi from Motihari in Bihar, was speeding and hit the milk tanker from behind. After the initial investigation, it looks like the bus was over-speeding.
