Anti-India rally in Muzaffarabad against New Delhi’s illegal occupation of IIOJK

Muzaffarabad: A massive anti-India protest rally was held in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, to mark India’s Independence Day as a black day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir.

The rally was led by prominent Kashmiri leaders, including Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Maulana Abdul Aziz Alvi, and Mushtaqul Islam. Protesters carried black flags, banners, and placards condemning Indian oppression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They also burned effigies of Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and Ajit Doval.

Speakers at the protest denounced India’s 70-year occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, saying it has deprived the Kashmiri people of their human, political, social, and religious rights. They said India is using draconian laws to crush the freedom movement and imprisoning Kashmiri leaders, scholars, journalists, and human rights workers.

The protesters chanted slogans demanding freedom from Indian rule and vowing to continue their struggle for freedom. The speakers warned India that the Kashmiri people will not accept its forced military rule and will continue their resistance until they achieve freedom.

The protest march was held on the main highway of the city, with a large number of Kashmiri citizens participating and waving black flags.
