Pakistan is our destination: PM AJK
Islamabad: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, stated that the relationship between Kashmiris and Pakistan is one of love, and Pakistan is the ultimate destination for the people of Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, in an interview with a private news channel, said that India’s narrative on Azad Kashmir is based on subversion. He emphasized that a plebiscite would expose the reality behind India’s propaganda. He reaffirmed that they remain committed to the ideology of Pakistan’s accession, and by upholding Kashmir’s unity, they aim to achieve the goal of joining Pakistan through the right to self-determination.
Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq said that they are well aware of India’s subversive tactics and stated that democracy in AJK has never been derailed. He added that the youth know the ground reality. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir also mentioned that during protests in Azad Kashmir, India had funded billions of rupees for promoting negative propaganda on social media to weaken the Kashmir-Pakistan relationship. He said they had thwarted India’s conspiracy to create division between Kashmir and Pakistan.
Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq emphasized that India’s ill intentions are well understood, and they are fully prepared to face them. He said that had such protests taken place in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, there would have been bloodbath. He asserted that they have resolved issues through dialogue, and while they support peaceful protests, they will not allow anarchy to take its roots.
