Rawalpindi: Chief of Islami Tehreek Pakistan and leader of the Millat-i-Jafaria Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has emphasized the need to adopt a coherent, comprehensive and effective policy regarding the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi was talking to a delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi in Rawalpindi today.

He said that Kashmir is the basic issue of Pakistan and they would continue their efforts for peaceful and amicable settlement of the lingering dispute. He said after India’s illegal actions in August 2019, it has become extremely necessary that Pakistan should intensify its efforts on all fronts to highlight the Kashmir dispute.

He lamented that Modi and his Hindutva government were following their Hindutva policy towards Kashmir, adding that the double standards of the western countries and human rights institutions had been exposed regarding the ongoing atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.

Syed Sajid Naqvi said he stands by the Hurriyat Conference and at all levels and will highlight the Kashmir dispute at all national and international forums.

The APHC-AJK Convener, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, informed Syed Sajid Naqvi about the latest situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India and Israel are two sides of the same coin and both the powers are fully cooperating to suppress the freedom spirit of the Kashmiri and Palestinian people, he added.

Ghulam Mohammad Safi appreciated Syed Sajid Naqvi’s efforts in highlighting the Kashmir dispute. He also prayed for Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah and other martyrs in Palestine, Lebanon and Kashmir.
