Kashmiris’ fight for freedom will bear fruit: Hurriyat leaders
Hattian Bala: Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders have stated that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are making invaluable sacrifices, and their fight for freedom from India’s illegal occupation will ultimately bear fruit.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the leaders, including Syed Manzoor Ahmed Shah, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Mushtaq Ul Islam, and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Raja Nazakat, made these remarks while speaking to media representatives in Hattian Bala, AJK. They stated that India has occupied Jammu and Kashmir solely through the use of force, and in order to suppress the Kashmiri people’s call for freedom, it continues to perpetrate heinous atrocities against them.
They further stated that India is blatantly violating international laws in the occupied territory and attempting to mislead the international community with its false narrative of normalcy in the disputed territory.
The leaders asserted that India has no right to hold Republic Day celebrations in IIOJK, as the Kashmiri people have rejected its occupation and are making unparalleled sacrifices for their freedom.
They emphasized that lasting peace and security in the region are impossible without resolving the Kashmir issue. They urged the international community to take notice of India’s atrocities against innocent Kashmiris and exert pressure on the Indian leadership to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
