Mirwaiz urges Kashmiri Muslims to embrace piety, self-reflection during Ramadan

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq highlighted the holy month of Ramadan as a prime opportunity to deepen one’s connection with Allah, cultivate piety, and practice self-reflection.

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing the Friday congregation at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq spoke about the immense blessings and significance of Ramadan, drawing on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith.

He emphasized that embracing piety and righteousness is key to both personal transformation and the betterment of society. He called upon Kashmiri Muslims to utilize this sacred month for introspection, spiritual development, and engaging in acts of charity and goodness.
