Massive protests in Rajouri, Jammu over blasphemous remarks by Yati Narsinghanand

Jammu: Large crowds gathered in Rajouri and Jammu in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, protesting against the recent blasphemous remarks made by Hindutva leader Yati Narsinghanand concerning the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters, representing various Islamic organizations, demanded Narsinghanand’s immediate arrest and strict legal action against him.

The protesters warned that such remarks, which they described as deeply offensive, could severely disrupt communal harmony across the territory.

They criticized the authorities’ inaction, expressing disappointment that repeated instances of inflammatory comments by Narsinghanand have not been addressed.

The protest rally, which began in the town center of Rajouri, concluded at Abdullah Bridge.

Simultaneously, another protest was reported from Jammu, with demonstrators echoing calls for Narsinghanand’s arrest.

Protesters emphasized that insults against any religion must not be tolerated, and failure to act could further endanger national unity.

Meanwhile, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas, demanding immediate arrest and strict action against Narsinghanand.
