A 12th-class student died mysteriously in the Indian Army’s hostel in Rajouri.
Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the body of 17-year-old Irfan Ahmed was found under mysterious circumstances in the hostel of the Indian Army Goodwill Public School in Choudhary Nad, Rajouri.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a student of 12th class at the school, Ahmed was a resident of the hostel.
When his body was brought to his home, the entire village was plunged into grief. Family members and villagers expressed strong resentment and anguish over the school management’s irresponsible attitude, citing their failure to inform them about Ahmed’s death in the hostel.
Following the family’s outcry, Thannamandi police registered a case of mysterious death and initiated an investigation. Ahmed was a bright student who had won a bronze medal in an inter-district wrestling championship in Jammu. His untimely and mysterious death has sparked concern among parents of other students residing in the AGPS hostel.
In a separate incident, an unidentified male body was found in the Guwri Dandi Bhaderwah area.
