Modi govt pushing India towards 1947-like riots: Mehbooba
Jammu: The President of Peoples Democratic Party in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, has criticized the Modi government and said that it is pushing India towards 1947-like riots.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti addressing her party workers in Jammu, said the Bharatiya Janata Party government is pitting people against each other on the basis of religion. She said the government has failed to provide employment, education, hospitals and roads to the people, so now it has been trying to divert people’s attention on the pretext of searching for temples under mosques.
Mehbooba Mufti said recently in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, several innocent youth were killed and, whoever will try to speak against this heinous incident, will be put in jail.
She said regarding the Dargah of Ajmer Sharif, it was also claimed that it was built on a Shiva temple, along with Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and people of other religions go to the 800-year-old Dargah, but these people also want to dig up this great Dargah in search of a temple.
Mehbooba Mufti said people need to unite and fight against all this. She further said although there is a coalition government of the National Conference and Congress in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, but in reality the Indian government of the BJP is ruling here through the Lieutenant Governor.
