Posters greet people, Govt of Pakistan ahead of their Independence Day

Srinagar: Posters have appeared in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, congratulating the people and Government of Pakistan ahead of their Independence Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, despite the heavy deployment of Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel and surveillance cameras, posters are seen in Srinagar and other areas of the territory reading “14th August – congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the 77th independence anniversary.”

“The Kashmir dispute is an unfinished agenda of the partition of the Indian subcontinent”. “Pakistan is the champion of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination”, the posters said.

Some posters read, “Sustainable peace cannot be established in the region without resolving the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the resolutions of the United Nations.”

“Pakistan is a precious gift of Allah Almighty. Kashmiris consider themselves a part of this country and are struggling to free Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian illegal occupation and annex it to Pakistan,” the poster said.

On the other hand, the APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas terming the Indian Independence Day, the 15th August, as a Black Day for Kashmiris said “We will never accept India’s illegal occupation and abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.

The posters were also shared on social media platforms, including Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram.
