Kashmiri diaspora unites for Kashmir’s freedom

Highland, Maryland,: Kashmiri diaspora organizations and individuals from across the United States and Canada at a gathering in , Maryland, US, have emphasized the need for unity and a collective approach to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Sardar Zulfiqar Roshan Khan, the host, stressed that “we all belong to one party, and that is Kashmir.”

Dr. Touqeer Gilani, JKLF leader, urged the diaspora to focus on forward-looking strategies and a unified platform for self-determination. Dr. Imtiaz Khan commended the Azad Kashmiri diaspora for their proactive role and emphasized the need for a well-planned action and strategy.

Advocate Sardar Anwar pleaded for the release of Yasin Malik, Chairman of JKLF, and emphasized the right to self-determination.

Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai warned of an impending genocide in Kashmir and stressed the need for global public opinion and leadership efforts.

The gathering emphasized the importance of unity, strategy, and collective action to achieve freedom and self-determination for Kashmir.

The participants expressed appreciation for the hospitality and concluded with prayers for the early recovery of Sardar Zarif Khan Sahib and Sardar Sawar Khan Sahib.
