Mirwaiz-led AAC mourns loss of prominent Srinagar businessman
Srinagar: Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Awami Action Committee (AAC), under the leadership of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Javaid Iqbal Khan, a prominent businessman in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Javaid Iqbal Khan, the esteemed owner of the International Hotel in Lal Chowk, was a respected figure in the community and had a close association with the Mirwaiz family.
In a heartfelt statement, the AAC extended its sincere condolences to the bereaved family, acknowledging Khan’s significant contributions to society and his enduring legacy. The organization paid tribute to his lasting impact on the community, particularly highlighting his strong ties with the Mirwaiz family.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq offered special prayers for Khan’s forgiveness and eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdous, underscoring the deep respect and admiration he held for the late businessman.
A delegation from the AAC visited the Channapora area of Srinagar to personally offer condolences to the family and pray for the departed soul.
