Modi govt dismisses two more Kashmiri govt employees in IIOJK
Srinagar: The Modi-led Indian government has dismissed two more government employees from their jobs in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the employees include Abu Rehman Naika, a pharmacist in the Health and Medical Education Department, and Zahir Abbas, a teacher in the School Education Department. They have been accused of links with militancy to justify their dismissal.
It may be recalled that the Modi government has intensified the process of dismissal and suspension of Kashmiri government employees after the abrogation of the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019.
The aim of this ill-advised move is to make Kashmiris economically miserable and to advance the Hindutva agenda in the occupied territory by appointing Indian Hindu employees in place of the dismissed employees.
So far, dozens of Kashmiri employees have been dismissed from their services.
