Jammu: Indian development claims were exposed as a pregnant woman was forced to give birth on a road in Kishtwar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir due to the lack of medical assistance.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred on the Bounjwah-Patnazi road in the district, highlighting deficiencies in healthcare and road infrastructure.
Family members stated that they had reached out to the district administration for help, but no assistance arrived in time. With poor road connectivity preventing any possibility of reaching a hospital, the family had no choice but to manage the delivery on their own.
Residents have expressed outrage over the incident, stating that the authorities are neglecting the area’s healthcare and road infrastructure.
The incident highlights the Indian government’s false and hollow claims of development in IIOJK, with the majority of hospitals falling short of staff and roads across the disputed territory remaining in poor condition, resulting in deadly accidents on a daily basis.
