PDP lashes out at New Delhi over ‘backdoor recruitment’ of SPOs
Srinagar: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized the Modi regime for selective recruitment of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in Udhampur, Doda, Rajouri, and Poonch districts of Jammu region in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, PDP General Secretary Mehboob Beigh, addressing a press conference, claimed that police authorities in these districts were instructed not to advertise the posts publicly.
Instead, they were given specific areas and formats to fill, which he described as “backdoor recruitment” lacking transparency. Beigh also raised concerns about past recruitment scams.
