Indian troops arrest three youth in Baramulla
APHC urges UN to facilitate early Kashmir solution
Srinagar: Indian troops arrested three more youth in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were arrested by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Pattan area of the district. The detained youth have been booked under draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The troops while labeling the detained youth as over ground workers have claimed that they had a history of involvement in pro-freedoma ctivities, which New Delhi calls anti-India.
Meanwhile, Indian troops and paramilitary forces launched cordon and search operations (CASOs) and raided residential houses in several areas of Ganderbal and Doda districts .
The APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar urged the United Nations Human Rights Council and other human rights organizations including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and International Committee of Red Cross to take cognizance of the human rights violations in IIOJK. He called for early settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions for global peace
